Past Masters
Thomas Talbot Lodge is an active, dynamic and diverse lodge operating within the 12th Masonic District of the Grand Lodge of Masons of Massachusetts. Our lodge has a rich local history dating back to 1889 when it was Chartered. The lodge is named in honor of Thomas Talbot, former Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Billerica Lodge Building was sold in 2020 and Thomas Talbot lodge is meeting at Wamisit Lodge building located at 70 Victor Drive Tewksbury, MA. It draws members from several communities on the north shore of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
The lodge currently serves over 100 members and perpetuates an exciting spirit of ongoing personal development and growth. Membership spans across several generations in age, Masonic experience, and professions.
During the pandemic we held many meetings using the Online Meeting format. We have returned to in-person meetings and are meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Meetings start at the time designated in the Lodge Communication which is usually either 7 PM or 7:30 PM. No dinners at this time before the meeting but you can usually find fellowship in the game room after the meeting with some light or prepackaged collation.
We have a very close, supportive fraternal bond, are highly active in Masonic, social and community service events.
Our events are fun, valued and well attended by our members, families and the local community. We are highly family oriented and encourage and foster family participation in our lodge events.
We are proud of our strong partnership and support of other lodges within and external to the 12th district. We are also proud of our heritage and our accomplishment of attaining the highly coveted Grand Master’s Award several times over a period of years.
We would welcome the opportunity to help you learn more about Freemasonry and to help you find a local lodge that suits you best.
